Kotz Sangster assists contractors and owners with notices and claims under federal and state construction lien, bond, and trust fund statutes. We prepare and serve notices of commencement and furnishing, 30- 60- and 90-day notices, stop work notices, claims of lien, and claims on payment and performance bonds. We also work with contractors’ and owners’ staff on procedures to comply with the lien, bond, and trust fund statutes in force in the jurisdiction they are working in. Finally, we obtain payment for contractors by enforcing their rights under these statutes.
