Risk Analysis and Mitigation Plan
Kotz Sangster provides risk analysis and mitigation services to owners and contractors to help them manage numerous uncertain liabilities arising out of their projects. To address risk in contract formation, we audit bidding procedures and work with clients to establish an internal risk assessment and mitigation protocol. This often includes developing a matrix or checklist that estimators and project executives can use to find risk allocation clauses in front-end documents. We also perform best practices audits to improve project recordkeeping, change order review and processing, compliance with lien and bond notice requirements, and compliance with labor and environmental regulations. We provide training in all of these procedures for project managers and team members.
