Mr. Anderson is a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and received his Law degree from Michigan State University/Detroit College of Law.

Prior to joining Kotz, Sangster, he was General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer for a large medical billing company headquartered in the Midwestern United States and, in that capacity, he worked closely with physicians, group practices and ancillary services entities.

Mr. Anderson’s practice areas include all manner of business transactional and litigation matters, with an emphasis on Health Care Law and the full spectrum of Health Care Provider issues including compliance matters, fraud & abuse, third-party audits, medical billing & reimbursement, entity formation, contract negotiations, mergers & acquisitions, self-referral, Anti-kickback, licensing & staff privilege matters, and litigation.

Mr. Anderson is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the State Bar of Michigan including the Health Law Section-Health Providers Subcommittee and the Business Law Section. He also sits on the Audit Committee of a major regional michigan hospital. He is admitted to practice in the state of Michigan, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, the United States 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
