Barry J. Jensen
Mr. Jensen is an attorney practicing in Kotz Sangster Wysocki P.C.’s Detroit, Birmingham and California offices. Mr. Jensen is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Law and Wayne State University (B.A.). Mr. Jensen has experience handling construction and real estate matters involving private and public construction contract and defect disputes. He regularly assists large, mid-sized and small contractors, subcontractors, owners and suppliers with private and public construction contract issues ranging from bidding issues and contract negotiation, through disputes, claims, and where necessary, arbitration or trial. Mr. Jensen is recognized as a tenacious litigator and a skilled trial attorney. He handles cases both aggressively and efficiently.
Mr. Jensen is a member of the Construction Practice Group and has successfully handled legal matters for clients in various states and in every common forum for dispute resolution. He has obtained substantial settlements and judgments for his clients through litigation in state and federal courts (including appellate procedures where necessary), various forms of arbitration, DRB claims procedures, mediation/arbitration proceedings, and through informal dispute resolutions between parties without the need for intervention of a neutral decision maker.
