Jake Porritt

Jake Porritt is an attorney practicing in Kotz Sangster Wysocki P.C.'s Lake Orion office. He is a graduate of Wayne State University Law School and University of Michigan. Mr. Porritt’s varied practice includes all facets of Real Estate, Finance, and Bankruptcy.

Mr. Porritt’s practice includes commercial and residential secured transactions, corporate restructuring and commercial and residential loan workout with a focus on debt modification, short sales, asset disposition and acquisition, and bankruptcy. 

His clients include national lenders, community lenders, private equity funds, a national title insurance underwriter, individual property owners, corporate property owners and developers.

He is a frequent lecturer for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education on Real Estate and Finance related issues.  His instructional material has been published by several local boards of Realtors and he serves on the North Oakland County Board of Realtors Board of Directors.

Mr. Porritt has been a licensed Real Estate Broker for seven years, a licensed salesperson for 13 years and he is a Director on the North Oakland County Board of Realtors.
