Jovan Dragovic is an associate attorney at Kotz Sangster in the firm’s health care law practice group. He concentrates his professional activities in general health care law. Specifically, he counsels and assists physicians and physicians’ groups on compliance issues with respect to the federal and state health care legislation and regulations, as well as the corporate and transactional issues relating to the health care industry and the business of medicine.
Prior to joining Kotz Sangster, Mr. Dragovic devoted several years of his legal practice to litigation, defending physicians, physicians’ groups and hospitals in medical malpractice actions. While earning a modicum of distinction in that field, Mr. Dragovic chose to re-focus his practice in general health care law because it allows him to work more directly with physicians and their groups on issues that are integral to building successful medical practices and other health care related businesses.
Mr. Dragovic devoted the first several years of his career to public service as a State Prosecutor in Oakland County.
Mr. Dragovic is a member of the State Bar of Michigan Health Care Law Section, Business Law Section and Environmental Law Section.
