Mr. Sangster is a shareholder at Kotz, Sangster, Wysocki and Berg, P.C. practicing at Kotz, Sangster, Wysocki and Berg, P.C.’s Detroit, Birmingham and Buchanan, Michigan offices. He is a graduate of the Wayne State University School of Law and Michigan State University (B.A. cum laude). For over 25 years, Mr. Sangster’s practice has focused on all aspects of construction law, from construction contract drafting and negotiations, contract review and risk analysis, to claim resolution through litigation, arbitration, facilitation and mediation.
Mr. Sangster is the Practice Group Leader of the Construction Practice Group at Kotz, Sangster, Wysocki and Berg, P.C. Mr. Sangster has represented a diverse mixture of clients, including developers, governmental and quasi-governmental entities, non-profits, financial institutions, manufacturers, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, on a wide variety of projects, including ethanol plants, casinos, stadiums, hotels, hospitals, churches, historic buildings, sewer and infrastructure, and general commercial and residential developments.
Mr. Sangster is also a member of the Litigation Practice Group, and has extensive experience as litigator in employment disputes, general commercial litigation and negotiation and litigation of commercial lease matters.
