Mr. Schreck is a member of the Corporate and Real Estate practice groups. His practice is focused on corporate, non-profit and real estate law. He is experienced in domestic and Chinese corporate entity formation, corporate planning and governance, mergers and acquisitions, leasing and transferring commercial property and real estate development. His international corporate and nonprofit work includes forming Wholly Foreign Owned Subsidiaries (WFOE) in China; obtaining 501(c)(3) tax exempt status for non-profit organizations and advising non-profits on corporate governance issues. He is also experienced in corporate, real estate and construction litigation.
Mr. Schreck received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northwestern University in 1995. Subsequently he worked abroad in China and Germany and he is proficient in German and conversational in Mandarin. In 2001, he graduated from University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While at the University of Denver, he was the President of the International Law Society, and served as a staff member on the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy. He is active in the local Chinese community.
